PHOTOS show tourists and sunseekers flocking to Durdle Door on the hottest day of the year so far.
People across the UK basked in warm temperatures again on Tuesday, June 1 as the first meteorological day of summer brought bright sunshine.
Temperatures climbed above 25 degrees as people enjoyed newly-restored freedoms following the lifting of many lockdown restrictions.
The Met Office said the best of the weather may be yet to come, with temperatures expected to peak on Wednesday in many areas of the UK.

Tourists have naturally visited Dorset's beauty spots such as West Bay, Bournemouth beach and Weymouth beach as they enjoy a day out and get some Vitamin C.
Photos taken on Tuesday showed people enjoying the warm weather at Durdle Door, with tourists climbing the steps up and down to the iconic beach.
Sunbathers spread out across the beach and followed social distancing measures in order to keep each other safe.
A group could be seen playing volleyball together in the sea while others enjoyed some paddleboarding with their dogs or kayaking.
Kimmeridge Coastguard as well as Purbeck Police Lulworth Rangers, Lulworth responders, and Lulworth Coastguard Rescue Team were called after they experienced a busy Bank Holiday weekend.
A cordon was in place for the air ambulance to land and took the injured person was flown to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.
Temperatures were high again in the area on Wednesday, June 2 with highs of 21 degrees reported by the Met Office.
Met Office say warm weather is forecast throughout this week, with 'dry day with widespread cloud in the morning dispersing throughout the day to become largely clear by evening' on Thursday, June 3.
There is however some risk of rain, according to the Met Office.
A weekend forecast reads: "Largely fine and dry on Friday and Saturday, however feeling cooler than previous days.
"Cloudier on Sunday with showers and the occasional sunny interval. Winds remaining light throughout.’
