A ROUTE between two towns in Dorset is shut due a two-vehicle collision.
According to police the crash happened today around 3.30pm on the B3082 between Blandford and Wimborne.
Police, two fire crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service (DWFRS) and an ambulance are currently on scene.
A spokesman from Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 3.45pm today of a two-vehicle collision on the B3082 at Badbury Rings near Blandford.
"Officers have attended, along with the fire and ambulance service, and road closures have been put in place as emergency services respond to the incident.
"One person is being treated by the ambulance service, but we do not have any update on their condition at this time."
"Please avoid the area whilst emergency crews are dealing."
It has been confirmed two fire crews are on scene.
