A NEW fortnightly craft group with a difference is starting in Weymouth tonight - hosted by a local woman who has appeared on TV with her sewing skills.
Littlemoor resident Sasha Fancy - who has appeared on Sky TV shows Hochanda TV and The Craft Store, is hosting the brand new 'Crafty Creations' group at Littlemoor Top Club, with the first session starting today, Tuesday May 25.
The sessions will run from 6.30pm until 10pm, featuring guest speakers, tuition, free samples and much more.
The group has been established thanks to a funding contribution by the Big4Littlemoor organisation.
Expert sewer Sasha Fancy, who is also UK ambassador of sewing machine brand Janome and Bosal, will be on hand to share her knowledge.
All crafters of all skill levels are welcome to attend. As part of the funding from Big4Littlemoor, all Littlemoor residents are being offered four weeks' free entry. After the four weeks, the normal charge of £6 will apply.
The group is also open to anyone from outside Littlemoor to attend. Refreshments, materials and equipment are supplied.
