OFFICES in St Nicholas Street, Weymouth which are opposite the Crown Hotel could be converted to flats.

Dorset Council has been asked to agree the change for 3 St Nicholas Street for Phoenix Properties (2000) Ltd which gives its address as the application building.

The proposal form, submitted to Dorset Council, asks the authority to decide if the conversion of the first, second and third floor offices to three flats can be achieved by the prior approval process, which avoids the need to apply for detailed planning consent.

Consultation documents have been sent to private and commercial addresses in Lower St Edmund Street and Weymouth town council.
