A PROPERTY in Dorset which has ‘fabulous views over open countryside’ has sold for under £250,000 at auction.
The three-bedroom property, based in Park View, Woolland near Blandford Forum,was put up for auction with a guide price of £195,000 by Auctioneers Symonds and Sampson.
Symonds and Sampson described the semi-detached house as 'spacious' and boasts 'fabulous views over open countryside'.
The property’s brochure notes that the property requires modernisation and improvement throughout by the buyer.

Based in a 'delightful rural village', Symonds and Sampson say the property offers access to some scenic walks around the area.
The property was featured in a live-streamed auction on Friday, May 21 and attracted interested from bidders.
After a number of bids, the three-bedroom property sold for £243,000. In comparison, the average house value in the area is £377,888.
Following the auction, auctioneer Mark Lewis said: "It was a perfect storm of having the right lots at the right time, and everybody now seems to be well versed with the livestream system.
"We were delighted to welcome Graham Barton of Homes under the Hammer fame to the auction. He joins the firm bringing great experience and will be running our Devon and Cornwall auctions in the future.
"At its peak, over 600 people were viewing the livestream, with huge interest in the variety of lots and seeing over 4,500 legal documents downloaded prior to the sale."
The ground floor contains a hall, sitting room, kitchen, dining room and cloakroom. Three bedrooms and bathroom are on its first floor.
There are gardens to the front and a small yard to the rear. Its garden space is also described as a blank canvas that could be renovated to the buyer's needs and vision.
