DELAYS are likely in Chickerell after work started to build a new sewer main.
Closures came into force at North Square this week as workers from Wessex Water began work. The closure also affects Barr Lane.
Dorset Council said delays are likely while work progresses with North Square set to reopen later this month.
A Wessex Water spokesman said: "This is work to build a new sewer main.
"We’re building a new sewer pipeline between North Square and Barr Lane, with closures in place on both roads from Monday 10 May.
"Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles and there will be no impact on customers’ sewerage services.
"North Square will reopen on Monday 24 May while work in Barr Lane, a private track, is due to finish in July."
