A FIVE-BEDROOM house in Weymouth town centre is set to go under the hammer for £175,000 next month.
The terraced property, based on King Street, will be one of the many lots available at an online auction by Town and Country on Friday, May 28.
The property contains five bedrooms, one bathroom, dining room and lounge and kitchen as well as a private courtyard garden.
The auctioneers say the house, which is within walking distance of Weymouth beach, is in need of ‘total renovation’. Photos show the walls need plastering or redecorating, with some new carpet needed to be laid.
The property is offered with vacant possession and is described as being ‘an ideal investment property or could be re-developed subject to planning.’
Town and Country suggest that if buying with a mortgage, interested buyers should conduct a survey prior to the auction to ensure their lender is happy to lend.
The winning bidder will be subject to paying the auctioneer’s buyers premium and a five per cent deposit which is non-refundable.
Interested bidders can arrange a viewing in person to inspect the property before the auction.
