A MAJOR Dorset road wa partially closed after a car crashed into a fence and rolled over.
The A35 was partially closed at the Charmouth Bypass due to a crash where a car crashed into a fence.
Police, paramedics and the fire service were all in attendance. The road was closed.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 1.49pm of a single vehicle collision on the A35 Charmouth bypass. It was reported that the car involved had collided with a fence and rolled over.
"Officers have attended along with the ambulance service and the fire service is also at the scene. Road closures have been put in place as the emergency services response to the incident."
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to the one-vehicle road traffic collision in which a driver somehow lost control and drove into a fence. The male driver has an injury to his arm.
"There is a lot of debris in the road - namely, a fence panel, a tree and two bags of sand - and council operators have come out to help clean up the road."
The road has now been reopened.
