HERE is the first glimpse of the new railings at Weymouth Harbour.
Metal railings have partly been built at Custom House Quay on the north side of the harbour.
Pictures show work is currently in progress.
Dorset Council started the project last week, which has been delayed - the railings were initially due to be built last Thursday.

They are being put in place on the advice of the Health and Safety Executive amid fears someone could fall into the harbour - and there have been several incidents over the years where people have been injured.
New benches have also been installed along Custom House Quay to provide alternative seating.
