Did you know that classic comedy Only Fools and Horses was not once, but twice filmed in Dorset?
Studland Beach stood in for Benidorm when the Trotters headed off to Spain, the holiday going fine until Grandad got arrested.
The episode featuring a very sunny-looking Studland was broadcast in 1982 and was called It Never Rains. It was the sixth episode of series two.
It was watched by 9.5 million viewers.
As you can see, Del Boy (David Jason), Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst) and Granddad (Lennard Pearce) are all having a lovely time on the beach, beer in hand!
While Studland Beach enjoyed a starring role in the series, a Dorset school featured in a much more memorable scene in another episode of the sitcom.
I'm sure many of you remember when Del decided to get into the chandelier cleaning business.
The famous chandelier smashing scene was shot at Clayesmore School in Iwerne Minster!
Likewise, this episode aired in 1982 and is often cited as Only Fools fans' favourite scene of the show. You can watch this scene below.
