LIDL has issued recall after one of its meat products due to potentially containing traces of plastic.
The supermarket chain, which has stores in Dorchester Road, Weymouth, in The Grove, Dorchester, and St Andrews Road, Bridport has recalled product Birchwood XXL Pork Mince (12 percent fat).
A food recall is issued when a product is known to be faulty.
Lidl GB has shared a warning for products sold in various stores in the UK.
The meat product was recalled by the discount supermarket chain as it may be unsafe to eat.
The retailer explained some packs could have pieces of plastic present.
A Lidl statement said: "Lidl GB is recalling the above mentioned product due to the potential presence of small pieces of plastic in the product."
Those who have the meat product in question are urged not to eat it and can instead return to the retailer for a refund.
Customers can also return the item by emailing customer.services@lidl.co.uk and including a photo of the pack with the Use By date visible.
