A PRISON in Dorset has confirmed 'a number' of coronavirus cases.
Precautionary measures are now being taken at HMP Guys Marsh in Shaftesbury in a bid to limit further spread of the virus.
A spokesman for the Prison Service said: “Our priority is to limit the spread of the virus and protect the lives of those who live and work in our prisons.
“We have taken precautionary measures at Guys Marsh following a number of positive cases, in line with public health guidance, and will continue to closely monitor the situation.”
