EMERGENCY SERVICES were called out to a crash in icy conditions on Friday morning (January 22).
Bere Road near Wareham was closed following a crash near the Silent Woman pub. There was just one vehicle involved in the incident.
The fire service assisted in the removal of two people from the vehicles. Neither person was seriously injured.
The crash affected traffic between Bere Regis and Wareham.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 8.48am on Friday 22 January 2021 of a single vehicle road traffic collision on Bere Road near Wareham.
"Road closures were put in place as emergency services attended.
"The fire service assisted with removing two people from the vehicle, however, there were no reports of any serious injuries."
The road was reopened at around 10.30am.
There were several crashes reported throughout the morning as a result of the icy conditions.
Dorset Police has warned the public to 'take extra care' on the roads today.
