DORSET Council have issued a warning for people who have received the Covid-19 vaccine to still remain indoors to reduce the spread.
Since Saturday thousands of people up and down the country have received the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine, and are now waiting for second dose of the vaccine.
Once receiving both doses, experts say the vaccinations help that person build an immunity and resistance to coronavirus.
However, the council have stated those who have received the first dose may still be able to pass on Covid-19.
A spokesperson from the council said: "To protect yourself and your family, friends and colleagues you still need to practice social distancing, wear a face mask, wash your hands, and follow the current guidance.
"Do not leave your home unless necessary.
"One in three people who have the virus have no symptoms, so you could be spreading it without knowing it."
