A person was rescued from a house fire which broke out this afternoon.
Three crews of firefighters were alerted to a property in Wollaston Road, Dorchester just after 4pm.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Dorchester, Weymouth and Bridport attended a fire at a property in Wollaston Road, Dorchester. The fire was located in the living room and extinguished using four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets. One casualty was rescued from the property."
It is not known if the person was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
