SNOW has fallen in areas across Dorset overnight, with temperatures dropping with DorsetSnow warning of “wintry risk” for the next ten days.
People reported seeing snow in Shaftesbury and Wimborne, although not a great amount.
Local weather forecaster DorsetSnow said this morning: “Rain and sleet has passed this morning. Mostly dry until 4/5pm, but some wintry showers.
“All eyes on the radar though, as precipitation band looks likely to pivot and perhaps turn to sleet or snow later this afternoon/evening.”
