For the second time this week, here are some gorgeous New Arrivals to put a smile on your face.

These perfect little people have come into the world at Dorset County Hospital (DCH) in Dorchester, with one even arriving further afield in Salisbury.

Dorset Echo:

Ava Grace Doble, born May 28 at DCH weighing 7lb 15oz to Leah and Charlie Doble of Shaftesbury. Little sister for Sienna.

Leah tells us: "I was induced due to having high blood pressure, it was really tough not being able to have my husband there until right near the end but the midwives were fantastic and I happened to have a very close family friend deliver my beautiful girl."

Isaac Mathieson, born March 22 at DCH weighing 5lb 14oz to Laura Van Crugten and Gary Mathieson of Weymouth. Little brother for Luca Mathieson 

Laura tells us: "Isaac made a very quick arrival by emergency c-section at DCH, 3 weeks before his due date and the day before lockdown began."

Rosie Noelle Puncher, born May 10 at DCH weighing 7lb 6oz to Harriet Hallett and Liam Puncher of Winterbourne Abbas.

Winnie Hayward, born March 14 at DCH weighing 5lb 2oz to Ebony and Joseph Hayward of Weymouth. Little sister for Nancy.

Ebony tells us: "Winnie was born 3 weeks early after being induced due to her being a small baby. I was induced at 2pm Thursday 12th of March and Winnie was born early hours of the morning on Saturday the 14th of March."

Theodore the day he turned a week old.

Theodore Christopher Stoten, born June 30 at DCH weighing 7lb 3oz to Lily Rebecca Poplett and Robert Michael Stoten of Weymouth.

Lily tells us: "Theodore was born on the 30th June, 3 weeks premature.
"I went into labour at 5:30am and he was finally born at 10:24pm.
"I found out I was having Theodore on the 5th of January only four months after moving to Weymouth.
"I was bouncing between my anxiety and depression and he saved me.
"I’m now so thankful I have something to live for and wake up for everyday."

Hunter-Adam Ralph Wright, born July 1at DCH weighing 5lb 4oz to Stacey Puckett and Scott Wright of Weymouth. Brother for Sofia-Mai,Cody and Oscar.

Mum Stacey tells us: "After going to the hospital for a growth scan I was admitted and induced - our perfect boy was born at 15:40 with the love and support of his grandma lynn and the fabulous midwives from Dorchester maternity unit."

Lexi-Jane Myrtle Olive Foot, born July 31 at DCH weighing 5lb 15oz to Yasmin Jones and David Foot of Blandford. Little sister for Alfie and Toby.

Yasmin tells us: "Went in for a planned induction. All went well and quick, following an early evening arrival. Staff were amazing, friendly & supportive. Thank you DCH."

Ethan James Champion, born March 31at Salisbury District Hospital weighing 6lb 13oz to Sophie and Mark Champion of Motcombe.

Dorset Echo:

Sophie tells us: "I went to Salisbury hospital to give birth; I was so worried about the whole virus situation but I really shouldn’t have been...all the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Ethan arrived in to the world on 31st March 2020 at 12.16pm by natural birth with no complications and we were lucky enough to take him home with us the same day."
