MULTIPLE emergency services were called after a body was very sadly found in the waters off the isle of Portland.
A Dorset Police spokesman said that they were called just after 7am yesterday morning after receiving a report that a body had been found in the water off the coast of Portland Bill.
Police officers attended the scene as the body was brought in by the Weymouth RNLI lifeboat crew. The coastguard were also in attendance.
The spokesman added: "Enquiries are underway to establish the identity of the body."
