The United Church Dorchester has made several changes to its events and services in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

A spokesman for the church said: “All Church Services have been suspended, with immediate effect. This is in line with the recommendation of the Methodist Church. Its latest guidance also includes an online order of service which can be followed at home, and which is updated weekly and follows the lectionary.”

The coffee shop has closed with immediate effect for the foreseeable future, however, the church shop will remain open for the time being.
