A DRIVER who had been banned from the roads has appeared before the courts after he was caught hitting speeds of 85 miles per hour on the A35.
Derek Duck, of Boscombe Overcliff Drive in Bournemouth, admitted a series of offences when he appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates' Court on January 22.
The defendant, 44, was caught speeding in a Hyundai on the A35 at Tolpuddle, which has a 70mph limit, on May 8 last year.
Duck admitted driving without insurance, driving while disqualified and speeding.
He was sentenced to a community order, under which he must participate in a rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days and carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
He was also disqualified yet again for 36 months and ordered to pay a surcharge and court costs.
