THERE will be changes to rubbish and recycling collection services over Christmas.
Between Christmas Day and January 11 next year, bin collections in Dorset will be on a revised schedule.
There will be a collection on Christmas Eve, but none on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
Catch up collections will take place between Friday, December 27 and Saturday, January 11, except on Sundays.
If your collection would usually fall between Monday, January 6 and Friday, January 10, it will be one day later than usual.
What if my bin is full?
Dorset Waste Partnership (DWP) will collect up to two extra sacks of rubbish beside residents' bins on their first collection after Christmas Day.
DWP will also collect extra recycling if it's placed in boxes (no bags) with glass kept separate.
What about my garden waste?
No garden waste collections will take place from Christmas Day until Tuesday, January 7.
Can I get rid of my own recycling?
Household recycling centres will be open from 10am to 4pm daily, except on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Can I leave my Christmas tree to be collected after I'm done with it?
Dorset Waste Partnership said it is no longer collecting Christmas trees at the kerbside.
