Anyone worried about the climate crisis has an opportunity to ask the candidates fighting for the South Dorset MP seat what they would do about it.
Transition Towns Weymouth & Portland is organising a general election hustings on the subject of climate change and the environment at St Aldhelm's Church, Spa Road, Weymouth on Tuesday, December 3 at 7.30pm.
All five candidates - Richard Drax (Conservative), Joseph Green (Independent), Nick Ireland (Liberal Democrats), Jon Orrell (Green) and Carralyn Parkes (Labour) - will be attending.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to submit written questions upon arrival, which will be sorted and put to the candidates by the Rev Nick Clarke.
Each candidate will be invited to give an opening address, after which they will be questioned for 35 minutes. There will be a 10 minute refreshment break, after which candidates will receive another 35 minutes of questioning. At the end, the candidates will get to deliver a final summary.
