POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a car was damaged.

The incident occurred at around 6.50am on Saturday, August 24, at Hill View in Bishops Caundle but police have only just obtained the footage.

The wing mirror of a car was damaged, costing the victim £100 to repair.

Following enquiries, officers have obtained CCTV footage showing a man in a white top with the number 15 on the back kicking the wing mirror off the vehicle.

Police Constable Simon Rogers, of Dorchester police, said: “We have been continuing to make enquiries into this incident and I am now in a position to release a CCTV image that we have obtained of the suspect.

“I appreciate it is not the best quality image, but I am hoping that with the description of the clothing he was wearing someone may be able to recognise him. I would urge anyone who has any information as to his identity to please contact us.”
