A stretch of the A31 in east Dorset will be shut at night until the end of November.

The dual carriageway will be closed eastbound from the Boundary Lane roundabout to the Ashley Heath roundabout. There will also be a single-lane closure westbound.

The road will be shut between 9pm and 6am, Monday to Friday, for 12 nights in total. The first closure took place last night.

Engineers are updating street lighting at the Woolsbridge roundabout overnight.

A signed diversion will be in place via the A347, the B3073 and the A338. Traffic will re-join the A31 at the Ashley Heath roundabout.
