DO YOU have a Growth Mindset? Have you ever heard of a Growth Mindset? Do you think you can achieve one? If not, here are our opinions on the subject.
A Growth Mindset is a form of mind that puts you in a mind state to feel like you can achieve any goal.
Growth Mindset is where you don’t say things like “I can’t do it,” or “this is too hard,” or “I’ll never improve”
Instead maybe try saying “I can improve,” or “I will challenge myself,” or “I can’t do it yet.”
Our school has achieved the goal of having a Growth Mindset, with the massive help of our Growth Mindset leader Mrs Bishop.
We have found many different ways to be good influences to each other. Mrs Bishop’s idea has changed each individuals mind from fixed to growth.
In our school, we have encouraged Growth Mindset to the max. We have made posters, target sheets and we have been using a program called SCARF to show everybody how we should act to each other everywhere in school or out.
Our school also has Growth Mindset certificates to show pride in what we have achieved.
Now you have read this, do you think you can complete this huge accomplishment that we have? We hope this will help you to consider having a Growth Mindset.
