A man has been arrested on Weymouth Esplanade on suspicion of breaking his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
The man is banned from the area under the conditions of the order.
Failure to comply with a CBO is a criminal offence and can be punished by imprisonment and or a fine.
Posting on Facebook, Weymouth & Portland Police said:
"We arrested a male this morning on suspicion of breaching his Criminal Behaviour Order.
"The male was found on The Esplanade which he is prohibited from doing so. He remains in custody."
