The ambulance service was called to Portland Marina in the early hours of this morning.
South Western Ambulance Service received a call at 4.23am.
A man was treated at the scene, before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
A spokesman for Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team said they were called to assist paramedics with a ‘medical incident’ on a vessel.
He added: “On arrival at Portland Marina, we found the casualty had already been recovered from the vessel and taken into the care of South Western Ambulance Service. With no further assistance required. The team stood down and returned to station.”
