Police investigate after Weymouth car fire
POLICE are investigating after car was destroyed in a blaze.
Weymouth fire crew was called to Littlemoor Road at 2.25am this morning to find a car on fire.
There had been three calls to the emergency services to report the blaze.
The crew extinguished the fire but the car was destroyed. Dorset Police were called to investigate.
However, a spokesman for the police said this morning they were no longer investigating the incident.
He said: "We are no longer investigating this. The registered keeper will arrange his own recovery of the vehicle and no criminal offences have been reported to us."
