A WOMAN has been rescued from a quarry near Portland Bill.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to assist.
A spokesman for DWFRS confirmed crews were called at 2.36pm.
They said: "Crews from Portland, Dorchester and specialist rescue teams from Weymouth attended Southwell, Portland where a female and two dogs were rescued from a quarry."
An eyewitness said the woman had originally climbed down to help her dogs who had become trapped, when she became trapped herself.
