A COUPLE from Dorchester have tied the knot, bringing to an end a two-year engagement with a celebration with nearly 200 guests.
Luke Richards, 24, and Jo Lillington, 26, became man and wife at St George’s Church in Fordington.
The couple had been seeing each other for six years, and engaged for two.
Speaking about Luke’s proposal, teaching assistant Jo said: “We were on holiday in Egypt, and he took me to the beach.
“As the sun was setting he proposed. That was on June 7, 2014.
“I’ve been very relaxed through the whole process from the engagement to the wedding.
“But the wedding was fantastic, absolutely flawless.
“The photographer, Chris Whitefield, was incredible.”
Their reception at was held at The George Hotel with a wedding party of more than 150 guests. For their honeymoon, the pair are jetting off to Florida.
