A car and a trailer were left badly damaged after a fire.
Fire crews were called to the blaze in Bradford Road, Weymouth at around 3am this morning.
The call was made by a resident who lives in the street.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said that firefighters from Weymouth arrived to find the car well alight.
They added that the car as well as a trailer were badly damaged by the fire.
It was extinguished using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
The police also attended the scene and a spokesman said that enquiries are ongoing.
Crews left the scene again at 3.50am.
