A LORRY caused delays on a major road after one of its wheels caught fire.
Dorset Police partially closed the A35 at the Stinsford Roundabout yesterday.
Fire crews were called to the incident at 4.23pm by a member of the public on the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire and Rescue said that nobody was injured and the crew returned to their station at 4.42pm.
Congestion was reported stretching from the Football Ground Roundabout to the Troy-town turn off.
Police were called at 4.25pm and put a road closure in place, diverting traffic through Dorchester.
