A35 partially blocked following accident - picture of Monkey's Jump
CASUALTIES escaped with minor injuries following a three-vehicle collision on the A35.
An incident occurred earlier this morning at around 9am 200 yards from Monkeys Jump Roundabout.
Cars involved included a black Volkswagen registered to a Bridport man, a green Audi A6 registered to a Dorchester man, and a silver Vauxhall Vectra registered to a Weymouth man.
An ambulance was requested as minor injuries were suffered.
A spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance said four people were 'walking wounded' whilst one person had to be taken to Dorset County Hospital.
Two crews were sent, plus a rapid response vehicle.
The road was cleared just after 10am.
