CALLING all budding photographers – enter our competition and you could win £250.
The Dorset Echo is urging all photographers to get snapping images of the glorious Dorset landscape for the Milton Abbey Capability Brown competition.
The pictures don’t have to be of the Abbey itself, but they should capture the stunningly beautiful landscape of the county.
This year is the 300th birthday of Capability Brown, who transformed the landscape of Britain. From July 10 to August 21 there will be a multi-media exhibition at Milton Abbey, with works by leading artists, filmmakers, photographers and embroiderers. The Echo has teamed up with the event to run a photography competition. The top ten photos, as selected by the judges, will go on display at the exhibition and will appear in the Echo too. The top three pictures will also win prizes; £250 for first, £150 for second and £100 for third.
The pictures must be of Dorset, have been taken in the last 12 months and be in jpeg format greater than 500kb.
To enter, email your picture to promotions@dorsetecho.co.uk by June 5. Make sure to include your name, address and telephone number and mark the email for the Capability Brown Photography competition in the email title.
