A LIMITED number of individual day tickets go on sale for Camp Bestival tomorrow.
The annoucement has been made as the Lulworth Castle festival also revealedwhich acts will perform on which days during the festival.
From 10am tomorrow people can buy tickets for either Friday, July 31, Saturday, August 1 or Sunday, August 2.
Co-founder Rob Da Bank said this was their way of paying back the people of Dorset for their support.
He said: “We sometimes do it a bit later but we thought ticket sales have been brilliant this year and we wanted to re-pay the local people for having us over the last seven years.
“It’s a fantastic county and location for us. I’ve got a big place in my heart for Dorset.”
To go with this, Camp Bestival has now announced the main acts for each day.
Guests attending on the Friday will get to enjoy music from Clean Bandit, Professor Green, Wretch32, Buzzcocks, DJ Yoda and more.
Friday’s kids’ and family entertainment will include Dick v Dom Go Wild in the Ring, Freestyle Fun Forum and Brit School.
Saturday’s main acts include the Kaiser Chiefs, Level 42, Alison Moyet, 808 State and Terry Hall from The Specials.
Entertainment on Saturday will come from the likes of The Cat in the Hat, Mr Tumble, The Steelers and Big Fish Little Fish.
Sunday will feature performances from Underworld, Kate Tempest, Bob Geldof, Soul II Soul and more.
The entertainment on the festival’s final day will include Marcus Brigstocke, Steve Backshall and Bill Oddie.
Rob Da Bank said they usually don’t release this sort of information at this stage but wanted to help people with their planning.
He said: “We used to keep this sort of thing quite close to our chests but it’s good to unveil this so can start planning their weekend.
“We were down there a couple of weeks ago doing a site visit. It’s a big one for us to get right.”
There are only a very limited number of day tickets on sale so people are encouraged to act quick to get their hands on tickets.
A variety of activities and shows will also be taking place across the weekend including The Hideaway Wellness Retreat and Spa, Bedtime Stories with Sara Cox and The Greatest Tent on Earth.
Tickets are available at www.ticketline.co.uk or via Ticketline 0844 888 4410 and weekend tickets are also available.
This year’s festival is taking place from July 31 to August 2.
