WEYMOUTH and Portland Chamber of Commerce (WPCC) will host a Question Time-themed event with the South Dorset Parliamentary candidates tonight (April 21).
Ahead of the General Election on May 7, the chamber will host the event this evening at Weymouth College to give business owners the chance to pose questions to the candidates.
Howard Legg, from the Liberal Democrats, Jane Burnet, from the Green Party, Richard Drax, from the Conservatives, Simon Bowkett from Labour and Mervyn Stewkesbury, who is standing as an Independent will all take to the stage and answer questions from the audience.
The event, which will take place between 6.15pm and 7.45pm, is open to both members and non-members of the chamber.
Members of the chamber have been invited to put questions to the candidates, but each of the questions must be submitted to the chamber beforehand.
If the questions are selected then the person will be informed before the event. Non-members of the chamber are welcome to attend but will not be able to pose any questions to the candidates.
To submit a question email info@wpchamber.co.uk or for more information on the event or on how to join the chamber visit wpcc.co.uk
The Echo will have interviews with all South and West Dorset candidates in the weeks leading up to the election.
