How very helpful, lowered pavements in Victoria Park Dorchester.
Never mind the overgrown hedges and hedgerows, or pot holes, lower the pavements on blind corners on two of the most dangerous junctions on the estate.
Even better, lower the pavement 4ft away from a lowered pavement, and put the new one closer to the corner.
Surely no-one with any knowledge of these roads, would purposely expect the disabled, mothers with prams/pushchairs or anyone else to cross the road on a completely blind corner, stepping into the path of cars lorries buses etc, unless they have never seen the road, or know the volume of traffic this estate experiences on a daily basis.
I can only summise the person responsible for this ridiculous and dangerous waste of money, has never set foot on the estate. When the first accident happens I hope the person in question is made accountable.
