A MOTORCYCLIST has been left fighting for his life after a serious road traffic collision on the A35 east of Bere Regis.
The crash at 10.52am this morning involving a motorcycle and a car happened between the Bakers Arms roundabout and the Organford junction, next to the Axium Centre.
The male biker suffered life threatening injuries and the male car driver suffered a fractured leg. Both were taken to Poole Hospital for treatment.
Following a lengthy road closure the A35 has now reopened in both directions.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 22:120 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
