THE trailer for the second episode of Broadchurch has been released by ITV.
More than 7.5 million people tuned in to the first episode of the smash-hit crime drama, and the next episode looks to be another gripping rollercoaster.
The focus for the episode seemingly focusing on the upcoming trial of Joe Miller, who is standing trial for killing Danny Latimer in the first series.
In what is a fast moving trailer, Jocelyn, legendary Hollywood actress Charlotte Rampling’s character, says to the Latimer family and friends: “A criminal trial is an unpredictable process.
“It’s not just down to me, it’s on everyone in this room.
“Never lie. Lies get exposed in court.”
DI Alec Hardy, played by David Tennant, is seen confronting Chris Armstrong, who was introduced to viewers as the main suspect of DI Hardy’s previous case, Sandbrook.
Chris Armstrong says to DI Hardy: “I lost my whole life because of you.”
Beth Latimer is then seen saying to her family: “If I’m there, none of us have got anything left to hide.”
The trailer ends focusing on DS Ellie Miller, played by Olivia Colman, who says: “My whole life has gone.
“I made so many mistakes and I need to put something right.”
