Dementia always seems to be in the news because it affects so many lives and can have such a dramatic and devastating impact on the families of those diagnosed with this disease.
We can all help dementia sufferers retain their dignity and remain independent as long as possible and continue to live full and active lives.
The Big4 Littlemoor committee, as part of their ten year plan to improve the lives of everyone, would like to make Littlemoor a dementia friendly society.
If you would like to learn more about this worthwhile project or indeed know more about the causes and prevention of this disease or how you can help those suffering from it, then Jo Bazalgette, dementia friendly champion, will be at the library on Wednesday 3rd December at 12.30 and again on the 10th at 5pm to answer your questions.
