FANCY getting a new perspective, broadening your horizons or just chilling out?
There’s a talk, reading or poet for you!
An inspirational collection of more than 50 authors, journalists, philosophers and illustrators are waiting for you in the Guardian Literary Institute.
Choose from ‘How to get back to nature’ with David Bond, ‘How to be a polar bear dentist’ with Michaela Strachan, or even ‘How to run away with the circus’ by Marawa The Amazing.
You could also visit the Soul Park or get transcendental with the David Lynch Foundation.
Soul Park returns with a potent mixture of soul searching, cleansing activities, a mini stage with a medieval twist and lashings of organic indulgences, culminating in the skill of chilling.
The David Lynch Foundation (DLF) will have an area for meditation and talks in the Soul Park.
The only space at the show where escape from the hustle and bustle is guaranteed, the Soul Park is a great place for families to hang out.
Open all day on Thursday, you can join in with the Camp Bestival Opening Ceremony at 7pm. The area also boasts the Soul Dome, a 360-degree immersive cinema which has a full programme of kid’s short films, and mind expanding and immersive 'audio/sound baths'.
While the kids bliss out in the cinema or have a go on our new trapeze, you could visit one of the qualified practitioners.
Reiki, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Thai massage, Acupressure, Holistic and Aromatherapy will all be available for booking onsite. Why not visit the new Camp Spa – the ultimate Spa indulgence – to enjoy a luxurious facial, foot soak, hand massage and sauna?
See! Whatever you’re looking for, you’re guaranteed to find it here.
