WHETHER you are a kid, or you’re just a big kid – Camp Bestival is all about you this year.

There’s more for young ones to see and do in 2014 than ever before.

For starters, everyone’s favourite family festival is getting some Disney magic.

An interactive fire engine will be blazing in to this year’s Camp Bestival to celebrate the launch of the new Disney film Planes 2: Fire & Rescue.

The new animation comedy-adventure features a dynamic crew of elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfire.

When world famous air racer Dusty learns that his engine is damaged and he may never race again, he must shift gears and is launched into the world of aerial firefighting.

Dusty joins forces with veteran fire-and-rescue helicopter Blade Ranger and his courageous team, including spirited air tanker Dipper, heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter, ex-military transport Cabbie and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers.

Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.

And the county’s very own fearless team of firefighters from Dorset Fire and Rescue Service will also be attending the event at Camp Bestival to teach children about fire safety.

Meanwhile older children and teens can get away from it all in a special space created just for them.

The Den, for 13 to 17-year-olds is a micro-festival within the festival, new for 2014.

It will be a showcase of new and emerging talent; from artists to DJs, comedians to authors, talks to techno and more.

Created in conjunction with The Roundhouse, and sitting alongside Rob da Bank’s Music Club, it’s the first area of its kind organised by a team of young festival producers.

The Den’s curators have also hand-picked some of the best bits of The Guardian Literary Institute plus other special guests from around the festival exclusively for 13-17s.

To top all that The Amazing Corner will be spreading their positivity over the area; screening films, performing main stage takeovers and hosting open mic performances.

There’s also Bigtopmania Kids Theatre & Circus in the Upper Kids Garden, which once again promises to be a totally full-on play experience brimming with activities, experiences, random entertainment and a full programme of theatre shows and crafts, where you can See, Play and Make Circus.
