MIKE and Barbara Davis celebrated their ruby wedding anniversary with a family party at a birds of prey attraction.
The West Stafford couple, who moved to Dorset from Hampshire five months ago, held the party at the Hawk Conservancy near Andover.
Guests, who came from Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset, enjoyed seeing birds of prey and flying displays amidst the celebrations.
Mike and Barbara cut a special cake to celebrate 40 years of marriage and thanked guests for coming.
They received a variety of presents including ruby rose bushes, flowers, champagne and household items.
Mike, 67, said: “It was a good day and so nice to see everyone back together again.”
Barbara, 64, said: “The secret to a long-lasting marriage is based on a lot of give and take and working together to bring up two daughters.”
The couple have two daughters, Rebecca, 35, and Joanna, 33, and are looking forward to Rebecca’s wedding next month.
