THE hunt is on for the owner of a set of false teeth discovered in a shoe at a Weymouth charity shop.
Volunteers at Sue Ryder store in Littlemoor made the unusual discovery while sorting through donated clothing last week.
Andrea Gibbs, shop manager, said: “The very personal item was secreted in a pair of shoes and concern mounts that the owner may require them if feeling peckish and has an allergy to porridge or soup.
“Verification will only be allowed once we know that they belong to you.
“We will operate a similar situation to the Prince and Cinderella regarding their perfect fit.”
She added: “We are, as ever, truly grateful to the wonderful people who live locally for their support .
“Their generous donations mean that we can offer incredible care.”
