As we all know this year marks the 100th anniversary of the Great War. To commemorate this the library will be putting on an exhibition of this terrible event.
Do you or someone you know have any pictures or stories that could be put on display? Anything relating to World War 1, family stories, anecdotes, old photos of great grandparents in uniform will be most appreciated and carefully looked after.
Please contact Pauline at the library on 812350 or drop in when the library is open.

The Big4 Lottery committee meeting held at the end of February saw several new members join who want to help develop our community.
But there is room for more people who want to get involved. If you don’t fancy sitting on the committee you can help out in many other ways. If you’d like to lend a hand building a better place to live then please contact Malcolm Beeson on 832572.
