DORCHESTER’S Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring an award in hopes of encouraging young people to enter local businesses.
The organisation has teamed up with Kingston Maurward College for the Activity Leadership Apprenticeship Award.
The first award was claimed by Kingston Maurward student Natasha Randall, with Sarah Ford of Battens Solicitors representing the Chamber at the award presentation.
A spokesman for the Chamber said: “The sponsorship is part of the chamber’s ongoing commitment to supporting young people and encouraging them to consider a career in local business and commerce.”
