CORFE Castle Community Library has found its first sponsor – Synergy Housing Group.
Alison Allwright, from the library, said: “We are already having additional meetings in the library with the University of the Third Age and a children’s book club. We are planning to hold other social events such as family history groups and games clubs.”
Synergy’s funding will be used to buy moveable shelving to make the library’s limited space more flexible.
Meanwhile, Margaret Burbidge, representing Synergy’s Community Fund, said: “We like to support such projects as Corfe Castle Community Library. It brings the community together.”
