Eli has been very busy this week learning about rain and storms. Eli wanted to know why has it been so stormy recently and how is rain made so he looked on the internet and in the library to find his answers.
Eli discovered that storms happen when warm and cold air is squashed together. The rain that occurs during these storms comes from clouds, which consist of billions of tiny water droplets floating in the sky, when the water droplets that the clouds contain become too heavy to be suspended in the air you get rain and sometimes floods! Eli thinks that he needs to get his umbrella out!
