IT is Captain Eli this week as we take a closer look at the fast Condor ferries which travel from Weymouth to Guernsey, Jersey and St Malo, in France.
I thought I would share with you the facts about the vessel. I was amazed to find out that the ferry’s steering wheel is just 6cm in diameter – about as wide as an apple.
I hope to take a trip in the ferry soon. Just across the harbour from the ferry’s mooring is Weymouth’s lifeboat, which I had great fun visiting.
