I LOVED these pictures of Karis, an eleven week old lion cub, playing in fallen leaves brushed up by keepers in her enclosure at Blair Drummond Safari Park, in Scotland.
These pictures from Chester Zoo show a recently born Kirk’s dik-dik antelope, named Neo, which was rejected by its mother and is now being cared for by its elder sister Aluna instead.
The mini dik diks, pictured below, one of the smallest species of antelope in the world, have struck up a strong bond and Aluna is taking her new duties very seriously.
